Senior Software Sales Representative

Position Overview: The Senior Software Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our comprehensive suite of enterprise software solutions and software implementation services to corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, a deep understanding of the software industry, and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our offerings to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and target potential corporate clients within the assigned territory or industry.
    • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
    • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our software solutions and implementation services to prospective clients.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition.
    • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  2. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
    • Conduct thorough research on client organizations to understand their business needs and pain points.
    • Tailor sales strategies and presentations based on client-specific requirements.
  3. Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, solution architects, and implementation teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on software solutions that align with their business objectives.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  5. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record of at least [X years] in enterprise software sales or related B2B sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and software implementation services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
